If you are a cheesecake lover, then you absolutely must give this dip a go! The addition of butter beans as an unexpected ingredient gives this dip a creamy texture while providing ample fiber and protein. Surprisingly, you won't even notice the presence of butter beans. We believe that fresh strawberries make an excellent accompaniment for this cheesecake dip, but feel free to use any fruit you prefer—it's sure to be a delightful combination.

Brielle Watanabe - June 6, 2024, 5:46 a.m.

Would any milk or just soy milk work for these?

PUL Team - June 6, 2024, 5:24 p.m.

Hi Brielle, there's no soy milk in the cheesecake dip. I wonder if this was meant for a different recipe? 🙂

Amy Cole - June 6, 2024, 5:45 a.m.

Hello, I have a question.
First of all, looks, sounds, and probably is delicious. One problem.
I'm allergic to cashews. What can I use instead? Thank you!

PUL Team - June 6, 2024, 5:22 p.m.

Hey Amy, thanks for the kind words and interest in the dip! Any nut or seed butter could work. It'll change the taste of the dip a bit, but we've heard several positive reviews for almond butter and one for peanut butter instead 🤗

Nora Thoms - May 27, 2024, 6:07 p.m.

Yummy! The kids love it, I love it. Easy and delicious!!+

Michaela - May 24, 2024, 8:43 p.m.

I made the cheescake dip using canellini beans and the snickerdoodle dip using butter beans/Weiße Riesen Bohnen. Butter beans make for a slightly firmer dip which I prefere. So far I had it as snack of dip and fruit, spread on toasted sourdoughbread with banane, made rice cake treats, salad wraps and salad/Chicorée tacos. Next I'm thinking regular wraps and tacos. Yummy!

PUL Team - May 25, 2024, 3:05 a.m.

Mmm love these ideas, Michaela, thank you for sharing the lovely review 🫶

Alia - April 1, 2024, 12:26 p.m.

This is amazing! I just had 2 servings with apple slices. I used my homemade tofu cream cheese and added a bit of lemon juice for the cheesecake vibes. Thanks a lot for the recipe!

PUL Team - April 1, 2024, 6:39 p.m.

Mmms sounds lovely, Alia, we're so happy that the cheesecake dip was enjoyed 🙌

Leni - March 22, 2024, 11:37 a.m.

Very delicious ☺️

Karolina Stridh - March 12, 2024, 7:37 a.m.

The best dessert I ever made!

Ryan - March 6, 2024, 9:54 p.m.

I’m not vegan but am minimizing dairy and saturated fat. This was fantastic! Will make over and over. A squeeze of lemon really helps balance it and make it taste more like cheesecake.

PUL Team - March 6, 2024, 10:30 p.m.

We're so glad that the cheesecake dip was enjoyed, Ryan!

Savannah M - Feb. 20, 2024, 3:38 a.m.

THIS RECIPE SLAPS! I am always suspicious of bean dessert recipes but I’m so glad I took a chance on this. I made it with Miyoko’s cream cheese and didn’t realize the cream cheese itself wasn’t as tasty as i’d like it to be, so i think with a better cream cheese it’d be even more mind blowing! Definitely give it plenty of time to chill before serving. Also, I found myself wishing for graham cracker crumbles sprinkled on top, so have those on hand.

PUL Team - Feb. 20, 2024, 6:35 p.m.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the cheesecake dip, Savannah - it's so appreciated 😃

Shelby S - Feb. 5, 2024, 9:33 p.m.

Cashew allergy here! I substituted peanut butter and it was delicious!

PUL Team - Feb. 6, 2024, 7:47 a.m.

Thanks for the insight, Shelby!

Victoria - Feb. 1, 2024, 7:08 p.m.

Any ideas for a substitute for the cashew butter? Any other nut butter a good alternative? My oldest son is allergic to cashews.

PUL Team - Feb. 1, 2024, 7:30 p.m.

Hey Victoria, any nut or seed butter could work. It will change the taste of the dip a touch, but we've heard several positive reviews for almond butter instead 😊

Kitty - Jan. 31, 2024, 4:54 a.m.

I brought this to a party as a dessert and everybody tried it. (Some suspected that it was healthy)
Overall it was well received, and I LOVE it.

@ppwicho - Jan. 21, 2024, 5 a.m.

Delicioso

Jade - Jan. 10, 2024, 10:08 p.m.

Delicious, we are nick naming it the butter ice cream hehe xx thanks for the recipe xx

Sara - Nov. 28, 2023, 2:40 p.m.

Okay I’m in love with this recipe when I’m craving for something sweet.
I didn’t have much in the pantry, so this time I used chai seasoning instead of vanilla and vegan oat Turkish yogurt instead of cream cheese. It was delicious! It’s giving Xmas with the chai seasoning, love love love!

PUL Team - Nov. 28, 2023, 8:12 p.m.

Ooo interesting, Sara, thanks for sharing the tasty twist with us! We're so happy you're enjoying the dip ☺️

Elyse L. - Nov. 14, 2023, 4:31 a.m.

I love this recipe! Super velvety but also fluffy and really tastes like cheesecake.

BadLuckAlley - Nov. 3, 2023, 5:59 p.m.

Just made this last night and it was quite good! Rich, delicious, and creamy. Great dessert!

Martina - Oct. 31, 2023, 2:13 p.m.

I absolutely loved this dip accompanied by some green apple wedges! 😍 It's great because it satisfies the dessert craving but without making you feel guilty. I tried this twice: the first time, my partner wasn't 100% convinced by the consistency, so the second time I peeled the beans before mixing them and the consistency improved. Needless to say, he loved it too 😉

PUL Team - Oct. 31, 2023, 6:33 p.m.

Oh we're so happy that the dip was enjoyed, Martina, and thanks for the tip to peel the beans 😎

Martunia - Oct. 2, 2023, 4:38 p.m.

This recipe is PERFECTION!! 🥰 From the day I saw it posted on the website I simply dreamed about it and after going through the hassle of purchasing vegan cream cheese (not available anywhere close to where I live) and visiting a friend with a Thermomix (in order to make cashew butter) I finally prepared it 😀 I definitely recommend topping it with the freeze dried raspberries, it gives the dip an amazing flavor. I had this with some apple wedges and I'm already kinda sleepy 😉 Thank you so much for this recipe! It will definitely up my fruit intake. Nothing like dipping it in this delightful creamy goodness 😋

PUL Team - Oct. 3, 2023, 4:15 a.m.

Woop woop - we're beyond excited to hear that the cheesecake dip was enjoyed, Martunia! Especially after the wait to make it. Happy dipping 😜

Annie - Sept. 30, 2023, 5:37 p.m.

Absolutely delicious. Had to stop myself from eating the entire batch in one sitting!

Eli - Sept. 27, 2023, 10:47 p.m.

This dip is incredible! Replaced the cashew butter with homemade almond butter and it was absolutely delicious!

PUL Team - Sept. 27, 2023, 11:11 p.m.

Homemade almond butter sounds incredible 😍 thank you, Eli!

Sara - Aug. 31, 2023, 5:16 p.m.

Stunning!
I used PB instead of cashew butter and also didn’t have maple syrup so used a combination of rice syrup and little bit of that brown sticky sugar, came out UNREAL!

PUL Team - Aug. 31, 2023, 11:29 p.m.

Woohoo! Thanks for sharing your modifications, Sara, it means a lot 🤗

Charlotte - Aug. 25, 2023, 10 p.m.

So delicious! I used almond butter instead of cashew and it still worked really well. I added some vegan caramel syrup when blending too which gave it more of a biscoff taste. Paired with strawberries for the perfect snack. 🍓🥰

PUL Team - Aug. 26, 2023, 5:23 a.m.

Mmm a lovely idea to add vegan caramel syrup for a biscoff taste 😍 thank you, Charlotte!

Daphne - Aug. 23, 2023, 2:12 a.m.

THIS is good. I think I'd like it cold better. Made it with coconut yogurt (made a mistake and bought it instead of vegan cream cheese) and it worked fine. Very thick. I keep trying to think what else to add to it but there's really nothing. It's just right. Thanks for the great treat.

Erin Rappa - Aug. 22, 2023, 5:13 p.m.

Loved it! Had with sliced nectarine.

samreen - Aug. 22, 2023, 7:31 a.m.

nice recipe

Pernia - Aug. 12, 2023, 8:37 p.m.

Hello! Is there any way to replace the cashew butter with something else? Maybe almond butter?

PUL Team - Aug. 14, 2023, 2:50 a.m.

Hey Pernia, yes you can use another nut butter like almond butter if you'd like. It will change the flavour profile slightly (cashew butter is just very subtle in taste) but the dip should still be delicious with another nut butter 😊

Hannah - Aug. 4, 2023, 3:57 p.m.

Do you think black beans or kidney beans would work?

PUL Team - Aug. 4, 2023, 4:01 p.m.

Hey Hannah, we wouldn't advise it to be honest. Butter beans have a neutral flavour, and a naturally creamy texture compared to the black beans and kidney beans. I'm afraid using any other kind of bean would be too overpowering in taste, and the texture might also be a bit too gritty. Any kind of white/lima bean should work though, in case that's an option 😊

Cristal Ortiz - Aug. 1, 2023, 10:19 a.m.

I had this today as a snack 3 hours ago. My energy was starting to drop and I still had a lot to do. I had it with a bunch of blackberries I picked from my blackberry bushes. It was soooooo good. I brought some of it to work to share with a coworker and she loved it too. I’m still full 3 hours later and not a bit tired. Delicious and a great afternoon pick me up. Will definitely make again

PUL Team - Aug. 2, 2023, 12:46 a.m.

Yayy we're so thrilled to hear, Cristal, thank you! Blackberries and blueberries sound lovely 😍

Robyn - July 31, 2023, 4:58 p.m.

And unexpected delicious treat!

Maisa B - July 28, 2023, 1:33 p.m.

This is a delicious way to add protein to the afternoon fruit snack. I eat it with apples and the combo makes me more satiated. Don’t always have cream cheese but it’s still good without it

Suluhu - July 26, 2023, 2:43 p.m.

I accidentally ate most of this before even cutting up the fruit to dip in it. It was an accident!

PUL Team - July 27, 2023, 3:02 a.m.

Accidents happen, Suluhu! 😜

Suluhu - Nov. 15, 2023, 9:09 p.m.

I was out of vanilla extract and replaced it with speculaaskruiden. Eating it with pear now. It's delicious and a great speculaas replacement (usually a big problem for me this time of year!)

Freyha - July 25, 2023, 4:29 p.m.

So lecker!

Joke - July 23, 2023, 9:11 a.m.

Interesting in Taste, will serve it to friends as a test run :)

Nadia - July 20, 2023, 7:14 p.m.

It’s delicious! I added some cinnamon and nutmeg to it as well! It was great and extremely easy to make. Although I do have to admit that the coockiedough dip is still my favourite of the two! But both are great, easy to make and delicious

PUL Team - July 25, 2023, 12:54 a.m.

Hehe the cookie dough dip is hard to beat! So happy this one was enjoyed too, Nadia 😊

Beth - Nov. 30, 2023, 5:01 p.m.

Where can I find the cookie dough dip? I searched for it but nothing came up.

PUL Team - Nov. 30, 2023, 7:30 p.m.

Hey Beth, the cookie dough dip is an exclusive recipe on the Pick Up Limes App. You can start a 7-day free trial on either the Apple App Store or Google Play if you're interested 💛

Ariane - July 19, 2023, 2:02 p.m.

I love this idea so much, sweet ways to eat beans are awesome!!!
I only prepared half as much, to be sure nothing goes to waste, but I absolutly recomend it!
It is also a great way to get some more fiber fiber into your diet!

PUL Team - July 22, 2023, 3:41 a.m.

Woohoo! So happy to hear, Ariane, thank you 🤗
