This is definitely my favourite green smoothie ever! I’ve had it for breakfast everyday the past week. Thank you for this amazing recipe 💚
Hi! loved the smoothie (I added two dates for sweetness and half an avocado instead of 1/4th to make it a little more filling) May I ask where you get the beautiful bowls from?
I made this with kale, as I had it on hand fresh from the garden. Tasted delicious!
Allergic to avocado, any suggestions on what to use instead? Please
Made this for the first time this morning and it was really good! Great way to get some veggies in and topping it with berries helps give it an added sweetness that works perfectly!
Aren’t you supposed to soak chia seeds?
Allergic to pineapple... what about using banana, or apple?
Had to sub celery fpr cucumber. So delicious!
I loved this smoothie bowl! The pineapple adds just the right amount of sweetness. With the right blender you can also just have it as a regular smoothie.
Personally not a fan of the flavour but looks beautiful
So fresh green and a little zing from the pineapple! I love it, I always make the same old smoothie so this feels like a treat ☺️
Oh wow! The combination of flavors is so refreshing. I don’t think I’ve ever had a smoothie with cucumber before, and this one was the perfect introduction.
I love starting the day with this smoothie bowl, delicious and beautiful!
The taste is great, but it required significantly more liquid to blend than written in the recipe. Admittedly I froze the fruits and vegetables as “smoothie packs” so I could meal prep breakfast — maybe that’s what required more liquid. Still, very tasty!
This is absolutely delicious! I love all of your smoothie recipes, but this one (and the salted caramel smoothie) is the best by far!
Thank you for the recipe!
Made as is written (but with almond milk). Put berries, pomegranate and granola on top. Thick and creamy and filling and delicious.
Very easy and tasty!! It doesn’t really taste like you’re eating a salad which is superb! It has a very warm, almond butter flavor I think above all. Really good!
Delicious smoothie, unbelievable! But I really shouldn't be surprised since every time I prepare a PUL recipe, it's always so so tasty! 🥰
Hi Sadia,
I would not have thought I would enjoy eating that many vegetables for breakfast, but it is just the perfect healthy version of a smoothie for those who wants to avoid a sugar kick right from the start of the day, and with the pineapple, it just adds a touch of sweetness without beeing overpowering and you can't taste the tartness of the spinach. I add a little bit more milk because the texture is slighlty to thick for my liking, but other than that, it's perfect!
Funny to have a green smoothie with vegetables and fruits 😊. I did not use maple syrup (pineapple is sufficiently sweet) and frozen cucumber (never have leftovers to freeze😅). I replaced the cucumber with more avocado, and the smoothie became very creamy!
I will use more oat milk next time since the smoothie was too thick and frozen to get out from the high speed blender…
A rather small portion, so I topped my green smoothie with strawberries, one crumbled PUL hazelnut granola bar and coconut flakes
can you freeze your veggies without it loosing nutrients? I'd like to do smoothie meal prep and store it in the freezer, or can I only do it and store it in the fridge so the veggies don't loose their nutrients?
also I love this website/YouTube sooo much!
OMG that was delicious. I swapped out the frozen pineapple for frozen mango, since my grocery store didn’t have any. I also switched out the cucumber for zucchini. Love the recipe 😍
Yummy, thank you for the recipe!! Love the cucumber, so glad my friend told me about your website!
Just wanted to know if tinned pineapple chunks (non frozen) and unfrozen cucumber would be fine?
I really loved this smoothie, I had to swap the avocado for a banana because I didn’t have any but when I do have an avocado I will sure make this recipe again!
Delicious! Thanks for idea of using frozen cucumber ~ now I know what to do with the abundance of cucumbers in my garden ~ slice and freeze for smoothies! Definitely will be making this frequently!
LOVE this smoothie recipe! I really liked that it was banana-less, since bananas can cause me issues at times. Thank you!
Ah I absolutely love this smoothie!! I usually really don’t like avocados in my smoothie and I only tolerate spinach but this one tastes wonderful! The perfect way to have some veggies in the morning 😊
Made this for my family. I enjoyed eating this creamy nutritious breakfast. I added a few frozen blueberries and sprinkled ground flax seeds on top.
This is a really tasty recipe. The perfect way to start the day without feeling too full. All the nutrients you need are in this easy-to-make recipe. Extra fruits and home-made granola are always an extra additions in my household. :) Thank you <3
I love the amount of goodness packed into this recipe. I wasn't sure about adding the vanilla at first (I don't usually do that in my smoothies), but honestly anytime I've questioned an ingredient in a PUL recipe I've been wrong. The PUL recipes are so well balanced that unless you have an aversion to a particular ingredient (me w/ vanilla), there's really no need to change a thing. That being said, although I was pleasantly surprised by how much I DID like it with the full vanilla, I do think this smoothie will taste even better on my palate with maybe 1/2 the amount.
I also subbed the cucumber for zucchini and it was delicious. Thanks, PUL team!
Could I use peanut butter instead of almond?
Thank you 😊
This is becoming my go to smoothie because it is sweet, balanced and tons of veggies! I substituted frozen zucchinis for the cucumbers to take out the cucumber flavor , but both are great!
I'm not usually into green smoothies but this one was a pleasant surprise!
I have had this more than once with different fruit combinations using mango or orange instead of pineapple and using zucchini instead of cucumber and it tastes delicious every time. My entire family enjoys it. Thank you PUL team!
Want a green smoothie that tastes like dessert? This is the one! 😉
Just wanted to know if frozen spinach is fine?
Amazing ..
I used mango instead of pineapple and peanut butter instead of almond works well ..
I need to add more liquid ..
I was very skeptical that this would not taste good. I did not have pineapple, so replaced that with frozen bananas and mangoes- it was absolutely delicious, did not think you could add cucumber to a smoothie.
This smoothie was delicious! Thank you for the recipe.)
PS - your new website is absolutey perfect! I love the tick option in text section so I can follow the recipe more smoothly when cooking (especially for a bit more complicated recipes). Robin did great job! Hands down - you have the best website out there! :)
