  • 1
    apple, quartered
  • 1
    orange, peeled & quartered
  • ¼
    cucumber, quartered
  • 1 Tbsp (6 g)
    freshly grated ginger
  • ½ cup (15 g)
    fresh spinach
  • ½ cup (30 g)
    fresh parsley
  • 1 cup (240 mL)
    unsweetened soy milk*
  • 1 Tbsp (10 g)

  1. To a blender, add all the ingredients except chia seeds.
  2. Blend on high until smooth.
  3. Sprinkle the smoothie with chia seeds, shake or stir the seeds in, and serve.

Great smoothie! It was so tasty and refreshing. I really appreciate the weight measurements so I was able to get the perfect amount of each ingredient. One note, I only added 1 g (or a sixth) of the ginger the recipe calls for. I am not a fan of ginger and this seemed to be the perfect amount for me as I could still faintly taste it but it wasn't a prominent flavor. This is a smoothie I will be making often!
