Ingredients

    avocado
  • 1
    frozen banana
  • 1 cup (240 mL)
    unsweetened oat milk*
  • ½ cup (120 mL)
    unsweetened soy yogurt*
  • 1 cup (150 g)
    frozen blueberries**
  • ½ cup (75 g)
    frozen pineapple chunks
  • 2
    cardamom pods, seeds only (optional)
  • ⅛ tsp
    ground cinnamon

Optional garnish

  • fresh blueberries
  • fresh mint leaves
  • unsweetened shredded coconut

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the smoothie in tall glasses and top with desired garnish. Enjoy!

Notes

  • * Nutrition tip: aim to use plant-based yogurt and milk that are fortified with calcium.
  • ** We used frozen wild blueberries, which we've found gives a more vibrant purple colour once blended.
