I found this to be ultra nutritious but lightly flavoured. Ideal to add to breakfast bowls with things like fruit and granola where you need a more subtle flavour. As a stand alone smoothie to drink I feel there are more flavoursome ones in your list.

I just made this today. I swapped soy for almond milk. This is the first time I've stuck to unsweetened ingredients, and I can taste the difference. I do want it a little sweeter, though. How do I do that without adding suger

Love this as a mid morning snack! I make it to drinkable consistency than a bowl. It is not too sweet. Fresh mangoes will definitely add more sweetness than frozen ones. It reminds me of aamras/lassi I grew up drinking during summers in India💖🥭

Fantastic. Not too sweet, had to use cashew milk unsweetened yogurt, no soy available. Added fresh berries on top. Had energy for hours. Even though I had to really work the blender to process the compacted cup of spinach. It was still cold. I enjoyed this so much and it nourished my body so well I’m dreaming of a vitamix. I noticed other posts lessened the load on their machines by adding more liquid but it was really enjoyable spooned thick from a bowl.

PUL Team - Aug. 31, 2023, 7:13 a.m.
Hey there, Ma, smoothies tend to separate and slowly brown when stored so we'd recommend storing the smoothie ingredients unblended and blending closer to enjoying if possible for the freshest result 😊

Okay made this as a smoothie bowl this time rather than drinkable smoothie. Made it as written and topped with some granola, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, banana and goji berries. WOWZA! It is delicious! The smoothie base is perfect as it’s not overpowering and is a perfect base for all your toppings. Creamy and delicious.

Made this one into a drinkable smoothie. Bumped the almond milk to about 1/2-3/4 cup. I also added about 1/4 of frozen banana to give it a bit more sweetness. I think as a smoothie bowl it would be good as written, but as a drinkable smoothie I just needed a little something extra. I think I may add ginger too next time! Yum!

I’m definitely trying out this smoothie bowl recipe I’ve tried a lot of your overnight oats recipes which were amazing. Also I wanted to know your thoughts on acai you haven’t made a video on that. A lot of the cafes in my area sell sweetened acai bowls and acai with guarana is it healthy or is it more of junk food. I was surprised to see on the box that it contains 21g carbohydrates in 100g serving so I’m guessing it’s filled with sugar I dunno I’m confused. Alls I know I’m addicted and crave it daily hopefully that’s not because of the sugar I’ve been trying to eat cleaner..
PUL Team - Oct. 16, 2022, 11:52 p.m.
Hi Nawal, acai is a delcious tropical fruit that offers natural sweetness and a variety of nutrients similar to other fruits. It is sometimes served sweetened with added sugars, such as in sweetened bowls or packaged products.
Here at PUL, we recommend whole food sources of sugar (such as those found naturally in fruit) above processed foods including added sugars or artificial sweeteners (such as a sweetened product), but this isn't to label either option as "good" or "bad". Instead, we can consider enjoying items in moderation rather than restrict or have either in excess. You can learn more about our philosophy in our guide to sugar if you haven't seen it already: pickuplimes.com/article/a-gui… Working with a healthcare professional, such as a dietitian, can also be incredibly helpful for personalized advice 🙂

This was my first home made smoothie ever. I just did it now. It was delicious. I did only one serving and it wasn’t mixed perfectly. So with two serving it would catch/chop the ingredients a bit better (I use a Ninja). But it was 95% smooth. I used sweetened Greek yogurt and almond milk and it was delicious!
Thanks for the recipe.

PUL Team - April 25, 2021, 1:38 a.m.
Thank you, K, for the feedback as it helps us improve and grow moving forward. If you watch the video for this recipe, you'll see that we used the same bowls as in the photos. Does it also seem too small there? In any case, we often find these smoothie bowls become much more filling based on the toppings added, such as granola, nuts, or fruit. We also have a new scaling feature at the top of the post, so you're always welcome to scale the recipe amount up in case you'd like a larger portion 😊 I hope this helps for now!
