    soft Medjool dates, pits removed
  • 2½ cups (375 g)
    frozen mango chunks
  • 2 cups (480 mL)
    unsweetened soy yogurt
  • ¾ cup (180 mL)
    unsweetened soy milk
  • ½ Tbsp (3 g)
    fresh ginger
  • ½ tsp
    ground turmeric
  • 1 pinch
    ground black pepper
  • ¼
    lemon, juiced (optional)

Directions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into glasses and enjoy!

Notes

I've only ever heard of mango lassi before and I'm now so happy to have tried it out. I love the addition of turmeric (with black pepper) for extra health benefits and yellow colour! 💛💛 Definitely making again! 🙌🏻

Tasted great! The ginger flavor isn’t too strong for me either. My blender did have some trouble blending the Medjool date, so I added some more milk. Maybe next time I should try soaking the date ahead of time.

So glad it was enjoyed, Lydia! We do recommend soft medjool dates for this one so soaking or adding more milk are lovely ideas to soften them if needed 😃
