Directions
- To a large bowl, add the avocados, lime juice, garlic, and spices. Mash the avocados, leaving some chunks if a textured consistency is preferred.
- Gently stir in the onion, tomato*, and chives. Garnish and serve with tortilla chips or fresh veggies, or enjoy in sandwiches or wraps!
Notes
- * If desired, the tomato seeds can be removed before adding to preserve the guacamole's vibrant colour.
Storage
- To retain its bright colour, this is best to enjoy immediately, or at least on the same day it's made.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 day, but do note it will turn brown.

Discussion & Rating
Absolutely love this guacamole, it’s always a favourite and there is never any left over.
simple & perfect. I added a little onion powder because I didn’t have a fresh onion on hand, and a bit of jalapeño, just for fun
Yummm! This was a simple + delicious recipe!
Beyond delicious. Hard to share!
I also put in a bit of paprika powder in addition to the chilli powder.
Delicious!
Lovely creaminess and I really enjoyed the aromatic spicy flavour. It suits very well with any kind of food. I tried it on a breakfast/brunch sandwich with kimchi and sprouts, which was delicious. Of note, I highly recommend to de-seed the tomatoes to avoid a watery and discoloured guacamole. Moreover, it makes it less difficult to eat on a sandwich😏
