Directions
- Slice or tear the bread into 1 cm cubes.
- Pan-fried version: heat the oil in a large frying pan on high heat. Add the bread cubes and all the spices. Pan fry for 4 - 5 minutes, stirring often until the croutons are golden and crispy.
- Oven-baked version: pre-heat the oven to 390°F (200°C). Toss the bread cubes, oil, and spices together on a parchment-lined baking tray, and bake for 5 - 7 minutes, mixing once or twice until the croutons are golden.
Storage
- Keep in an airtight container on the counter for up to 3 days.
