Cold Busting Green Smoothie
If you're living in the northern hemisphere that might mean it's cold. It's cold here in the Netherlands, anyway. We just had our first snowfall a couple days ago!
Luckily it's been years since I've been sick; I attribute this mostly to the plant-based lifestyle, but also to staying active, trying to find calmness and peace in the day-to-day activities, and also to getting enough sleep!
But back to the plant-based lifestyle:
If I feel any semblance of a cold coming on, my go-to is a green smoothie. It feels so nourishing. Maybe it's the smoothie that does the trick, or maybe it's my thinking that the smoothie will make me better that I actually feel back to my normal self by the next day. Either way, it works.
So refuse to get sick this winter and drink up
But you don't need me to twist your arm: it actually tastes great... in fact, I drink green smoothies often: even if I'm not feeling under the weather.
Fruit and vegetables? We're homies.
Yupp - I just said that.
In other news, if you'd rather watch a video of me making the smoothie first to give you some inspiration, here it is:
Enjoy (and feel better)!
