Made this recipe today. Turned out great, I added in zaatar which gave an extra flavor.
Watched your channel for a couple years now, admiring the beautiful display of colourful foods. Tried this one out and it was great. I only ended up using half the amount of beet, but the colour was still amazing. Thanks :)
I make a batch of this hummus weekly! So tasty, nourishing and easy to make. The beets add a unique flavour that I will never get tired of! Thanks PUL!
This dish is so beautiful and delicious! A nice twist on classic hummus. I'd been wanting to make a beetroot hummus for a while and for some reason was intimidated by working with the beets, but the PUL recipe made each step super approachable and easy. Just wanna add that I was low on garbanzo beans but I had kidney beans on hand and, color-wise, that worked really well, too!
Loved it! The sweet flavor from the beets + garlic flavor (I used more than the recipe called for because I love garlic) was a surprisingly delicious combination! 😍
I wonder if I can try this recipe with store-bought cooked beetroot ? Has anyone tried it ? I would love to be able to speed-it up.
By the way, thanks so much for all your recipes, every time we have a pot luck I make something from this website and my non vegan frieds always love it !
Just made this hummus and was really pleasantly surprised by it's flavour.
This is my GO TO beetroot hummus recipe. I first made the mistake of boiling the beets and it resulted in such a watery hummus that went bad so fast :( but then i followed sadia s instructions to roast them and their sweet earthy flavor was LEGIT. i ve taken this recipe to parties and friends keep requesting it cuz it s that good.
My favorite way to use up the little beets from my garden. So tasty and beautiful!
One of the best hummus recipes I've ever tried. The beets elevate Sadia's base recipe to something that's even more amazing! I also love the jeweled color. I like using this with avocado toast.

This was my second-favorite PUL hummus recipe after the artisan! I love the flavour!
My favourite!
This has become my go-to hummus recipe! My usual way to have it is on toast with avocado and sprouts, it is so gorgeous with the bright hummus. It has a slight earthiness to it, but the beet flavor isn't too pronounced, so if you're not a huge fan of beets I would still recommend it.
One word: wow! Perfect snack option for me as a diabetic, and complements so well with seed crackers. This hummus has been enjoyed in its own right
