We've fallen in love with blended oats as a breakfast option. They are rich and creamy, making them feel like a treat. This recipe combines sweet raspberries, creamy almond butter, and wholesome oats as the base. To top it off, we added a chocolate yogurt mixture with a "stracciatella" texture for an extra level of indulgence.

I noticed, that I feel hungry quite quicky (after 2 or 3 hours) when I have oats (like this recipe) for breakfast. Do you have any tip what I could add to make it more filling? I don't seem to have the same problem when having bread for breakfast.
PUL Team - May 12, 2025, 1:44 p.m.
Hey Nike! Some ideas include using soy milk instead of almond milk for more protein, and adding a spoonful of hemp seeds, nut butter, or ground flax for healthy fats and fiber. A side of fruit with nut butter or a handful can also help keep you fuller for longer 🤗✨

This was so incredibly satisfying. I used blueberries because that is what I had, but I cannot wait to try this with raspberries (as written) or cherries. I couldn’t really layer it as the instructions suggest, as the yogurt mixture sunk to the bottom and the chocolate got too thick (my fault for heating too fast). It didn’t matter though. It still was incredible! Will definitely make again (and again and again).

Hey Nour, thanks for sharing your experience with the blended oats 😊 In case it helps in the future, melting chocolate slowly can help prevent it from thickening, otherwise adding a small amount of coconut oil can also make chocolate smoother and easier to spread.

I love the aesthetics of this breakfast dish (beautiful😍), and the directions looked so easy! I was unfortunately disappointed with the end product of my first attempt: despite following the exact volumes and weights, the blended oats became a soupy mix. It is impossible to create any layer using the timings provided in the recipe. Thus, in the future, I will make the blended oats at least 2 hrs before assembling the dish (just like regular o/n oats). Although I was disappointed with the texture, I loved the flavours!! The filling oats are lovely with the balanced sweetness and tartness of the raspberries, which goes so well with the yoghurt and melted chocolate. I completely agree with another reviewer that it is like the Italian ice cream ☺️. I will definitely make this recipe again with some minor tweaks: (1) omitting the date to reduce excess sweetness and (2) make blended oats at least 2 hrs before assembly
PUL Team - July 26, 2023, 8:51 p.m.

PUL Team - July 17, 2023, 4:41 p.m.
Hey Cláudia, no need to soak regular rolled oats before using, and as for the raspberries, we'd recommend fresh if possible but frozen should also work. Let us know how it goes! 🙂

The porridge came out really liquid, which made the layering difficult. I feel like some steps were missing, perhaps you have to wait for the first layer to set. The second layer blended in.
Also, with the amount of chocolate we found it difficult to make a top layer of chocolate.
But otherwise, it was tasty 😋
PUL Team - July 6, 2023, 8:10 a.m.
Louise Magnusson - July 25, 2023, 9:39 a.m.
I completely agree with your observation; it is impossible to create layers when the blended oats are so liquid directly from the mixture. I used the exact amounts provided in the recipe, and the blended oats are like a soup. Thus, i think that you need to prepare the oats on the evening before consumption

I really love this recipe! I swapped the raspberries for strawberries and added some chopped ones into the yogurt layer which was very delicious. I also tried it with peaches, which also worked perfectly fine, I think I will try some more fruits in the future
Delicious!
That was DELICIOUS!! Wow!! It could be a dessert! I might do less chocolate next time. Either just have some to stir into the yoghurt part or drizzle a bit on top. Not both. But truly fantastic! LOVED the smoothness of the rolled oats. Thanks, Sadia, as always!
This is my new obsession. I love the pickup limes recipies and it is so great to have this app now. I love all the features. Also love supporting Sadia, she is the loveliest.
Two questions: 1) Should the oats be soaked first or is it ok if we don't? 2) Can the raspberries be frozen?
This looks delicious.
So good and it doesn’t hurt that the melting chocolate setting in the yoghurt reminds me of stracciatella ice cream, making it feel even more like having dessert for breakfast ;)
Really good also as a takeaway breakfast in the right container.
Spreading the chocolate is an art form that I do not have. lol but it turned out awesome
Best thing ever, and I’m not even a fan of oats normally. It could be the chocolate I’m using, but it doesn’t end up pourable so I just drizzle it on top
Wow, just wow! I’ve made so many varieties of oatmeal before but nothing ever like this. I still have some left over in the fridge and super excited to eat it tomorrow morning. So delicious! Must try!
Subbed raspberries for blueberries and almond butter for peanut butter. Delicious and really fun and easy to make. Will definitely be adding this recipe to my regular rotation. It’s like a dessert for breakfast 🤤
my first recipe that i tested from this app. Absolutely in LOVE 🤍
Delicious way to revamp oatmeal. The exact type of recipe I’ve been looking for! And it was so filling I had leftovers 😋 Thank you!
For those who are saying it was too watery I used the leftover oatmeal I strain out from making my homemade oat milk and it was the perfect texture!
Tasted absolutely delicious. Mine came out to liquid to be able to layer it so I think next time I’ll make the oat mixture the day before and leave it to set over night
I think I did something wrong because it came out too liquidy to layer properly, but it was still delicious and filling! Made 3/4 of a serving (love the adjustability!) and still plenty!
Super delicious!
Delicious! I subbed strawberries because I didn’t have raspberries and it was so good.
Its very delicious, though unfortunately my chocolate didnt harden. i might dry again with less yogurt and more chocolate.
I swapped coconut yogurt with regular yogurt. Maybe thats the reason it happened
This was really good. I had strawberries so that’s what I used but it was very tasty and satisfying.
Fantastic! Used fresh strawberries because that’s all I had on hand— what a treat! Thanks ♥️
This was very good! It’s very filling. I split 2 servings between myself and my two toddlers. We all couldn’t finish, we’re so satisfied! I’m surprised my extremely picky 3 year old loved it.
So easy. So satisfying. So delicious! I think this would really impress as a brunch with friends or served as a dessert- but I’d do smaller portions as a dessert I think
Great recipe very delicious
This looks so good and I can’t wait to make it. Just a quick question, I have to eat a low fibre diet and I’m wondering if it would still work if I left out the chia seeds?
This recipe is a nice quick and easy breakfast that is light, yet filling. The chocolate adds just a touch of sweetness, but it’s not overpowering. Really enjoy the ability to change the serving size based upon your needs!
Tastes wonderful! The app is so amazing I love the cook along mode. This recipe was super easy and the time in the fridge at the end allows you to clean up all of the dishes used for the recipe!
Omg. The best oatmeal i have ever eat
i’m in love with this recipe
Oh my gosh this tastes like dessert for breakfast! Unbelievably good!
