Oh wow! My kids could not stop eating these! My daughter said they taste better than McDonald's lol, which is a huge deal coming from an American kid! I did also sear them with boiling water before seasoning (my mom read somewhere that it helps with crispness). As always, thank you for sharing your joy of cooking with us!

These fríes are amazing!! Very simple and quick to make. I used exactly 500g of potatoes and fried them for 20 minutes and they turned out crispy and much tastier than any store-bought French Fríes I have ever tried. Thank you so much for the recipe!

Very tasty ! Mine didn’t come out as nice like picture (still tasty though) but I think that’s a measurement issue 😅 gonna try again soon and update my review then !

Can this be done in a regular oven as well?

Hey Edith, we imagine so! We'd recommend using the fan setting if your oven has one, and baking the fries on a lined tray at 400°F (200°C) for about 30 minutes, giving them a good shake or flip halfway through. Depending on your oven and how crispy you like them, you might need to tack on a few extra minutes at the end ☺️
