Discussion & Rating
My mom and I made this drink together on an EXTREMELY hot summer day. We had run out of raspberries, so we decided to make the drink with strawberries instead--and it still turned out ✨A M A Z I N G✨. We got the same beautiful pink color and even some delicious strawberry jam from the mashed strawberries. 5 stars to an amazing recipe!
I loved making this drink for my mom! It made us both feel extra fancy when we were hanging out and it's very refreshing. I'm a big fan of the tartness but my mom added a bit more agave for hers. I don't like ordering lemonade when I'm out because it's usually too sticky sweet, so making it at home with this recipe really worked for me!
(TLDR; You have to try this! It’s refreshingly delicious!) I’ve been on a quest to avoid as many man made chemicals in our food as possible, so this recipe came at me at the perfect time. I’ve been looking for a good homemade summer drink and this lemonade is definitely it! I used 1/3c of maple syrup instead of 1/4c because I had a feeling it was going to be too tart, and I’m glad I did. The lemonade was still tart for my normal go to… but after the first initial sips, I really started to fall in love with it. So crazy because I also mix my lemonades with unsweetened iced tea. I for sure thought I was going to have to double the amount of syrup, but I didn’t. I’m extra excited to like this because now I’m training myself to consume less sugar, and that’s so awesome! 5 glorious stars for this recipe!
That tasted amazing and it was so easy to make ! :-)
