Nanaimo Bars
Nanaimo bars are named after the city of Nanaimo, located on Vancouver Island, in my home province of British Columbia. This classic Canadian treat is a layered bar, filled with rich, sweet custard icing, and topped with a layer of silky chocolate. They're delicious, eh!bars

Not sure what I did wrong, but I had to use way more coconut oil for the bottom layer and still it was a little bit falling apart.
Plus it was way too much of the bottom mixture, so I divided it into two forms. One I made with peanut butter instead of the sugary cream and it turned out like snickers from your other recipe..:)
Dessert intĂ©ressant, mais extrĂȘmement sucrĂ©. Si le rĂ©sultat est trĂšs beau le goĂ»t est vraiment au sucre. A faire dans des occasions particuliĂšres je pense
Thank you for this! Iâm in Luxembourg and have had a huge craving for this Canadian childhood treat for yonks!
Made these tonight and OMG theyâre so good! My friends said it was the best Nanaimo bar theyâve had.
Absolutely delicious!!! No words. I wasn't able to find this custard powder so I used cornstarch as I saw in the comments below.
