S'mores in a Jar

This twist on the classic campfire treat is the perfect dessert to bring to a picnic or bonfire. Surprisingly easy to make, the only real cooking involves preparing a simple, rich, and chocolatey custard. Just layer it up, secure with a lid, and take this charming dessert to any gathering!

Could shortbread cookies be substituted for digestive biscuits?

Hiii Bonnie! We haven't tested it ourselves, but we imagine shortbread cookies would work 😊

They'll likely create a softer, more delicate base than digestive biscuits, which are a bit sturdier and have the classic graham cracker-like texture. The flavour should still be delicious, though, with a richer and more buttery note ✨

If you give the recipe a try, we'd love to hear how it turns out 🥰

Sounds nice, but where can I buy vegan marshmallows (in The Netherlands)?

Hey Myra! You can get them from Jumbo (their housebound vegan marshmallows), or online from a brand called KoRo (from bol.com for example) - hope this helps, and that you enjoy the recipe if you give it a try :D
