Made this meal for dinner last night and it was so good! Minimal chopping is a great starting point for me as I’m just learning how to cook and this recipe was great for that. Took little to no time at all to make and will definitely be adding this meal to my weekly rotation!
This is the perfect after work meal. Minimal chopping, minimal ingredients and minimal cooking time for maximum taste 😜 It's so easy and so satisfying. Don't skip the garnishes either, they really do add a lovely freshness to cut through the rich sauce. This is another PUL recipe that is quicker than ordering a takeaway. And a lot nicer too!
Loving this quick nourishing stew! Warms the heart on a cold day! The flavours are amazing! I cheated and added some leftover roast veggies that needed a makeover + some toasted sesame oil in the end. Yum 😋
Delicious !!!
This is soooo good and deliciously spicy - a true feast and quick to prep! Love it!
Amazing Taste - thanks
Love it!
Just made this for lunch using tomatoes from the garden and I love it. In the past when I've tried using gochujang it's felt like it overpowered everything else but with this dish, I can taste the tomatoes and garlic as well, and the textures come together beautifully! This will definitely be in our regular rotation.
I love this recipe and have made it several times now. It's a hit in taste and ease of prep for us!
Absolutely delicious and so easy to make
The gochujang I purchase is very thick, and I was worried about the consistency of the sauce (my mixture was much more of a paste than the photos in the recipe steps), but when it combined with the juice from the tomatoes it was perfect! Delicious and will make again.
Made this today and it's very simple and tasty! I added a chopped aubergine to the tomatoes for a bit more Fibre, turned out nice!
The amount of spicyness was exactly right
It wasn’t for us. Maybe it’s one of those things you have to get used to? It tasted quite mild and lacked flavor. Next time I’ll try adding some onions, ginger, cut down the tomatoes and maybe add some spinach. It was a pity because I was really hoping to like this one - I hate tofu but want to incorporate more protein in my diet. Off to find a different tofu recipe. I haven’t lost hope yet because I believe in Sadia (I’ve tried another recipe a long time ago and it blew my mind).
FAVOURITE WEEKNIGHT MEAL COMES TOGETHER SO QUICK! I LOVE IT!!
Such a great recipe! I added some onion, ginger and cilantro to the sauce, and it came out so tasty!
Has become one of my favourites and a go-to for when I have people over - also this recipe introduced me to gochujang and I am very thankful 😂😍 always takes a bit too long to properly crisp the tofu in the pan, but so worth it :) another 5 star recipe hehe
This was really good!!
No too spicy, but just right 👌🏼
I put it in the nourish plan for my bf to make and he had no trouble at all whipping it up. Which is my way of saying the instructions are really clear 😅❤️
This was so quick, easy and tasty. Definitely keeping this one as a staple 😊
This meal was great and super easy to make. This will a regular in our week night rotation.
This was so good! I ended up using a can of crushed tomatoes since that's what I had, and it turned out great!
So good! And super quick to make. Definitely adding this one to my regular dinner rotation.
I didn’t have enough fresh cherry tomatoes so I used a tin of cherry tomatoes instead and it turned out great! Likely a little saucier than the original recipe but the flavours were on point.
[3,5] We made this for dinner tonight and it was great! We adjusted it a bit to taste. We baked the tofu in some cornstarch to make it really crispy. And sliced the tofu instead of cubing it. Added 1 teaspoon of white wine vinegar and a bit more sugar. We kept the tofu and sauce divided to keep the tofu crispy. Made it with a cucumber salad and some green beans! It was really tasty and pretty easy to make. This is a keeper! I think I might add some veggies in the sauce next time. I think bell pepper would be a great add!
Been following PickUpLimes since 6 years ago! Love this app and didn’t hesitate to subscribe.
Cooking will now be an essential part of my daily life! Everything has been thought about to the smallest detail! Amazing! As a beginner myself this was incredibly easy to understand and follow! Food was delicious! Thank You Sadia! <3
Wow! This is amazing. I cooked my tofu and tomatoes longer as I wanted my tofu crunchy (didn’t press it) and the tomatoes to melt in the background. So so good!
So easy and yummy to make! As a desi girl i added some red chili flakes too :)
Such an incredibly delicious and easy recipe! I added some frozen stir fry veggies, along with the tomatoes, and it was packed with flavor! Recommend this recipe to anyone looking for a quick and healthy weeknight dinner.
A tomaty-fruity-creamy dream! So good and done really fast! Thanks for the recipe! 😍
Love!
Omg this is amazing! I switched up the rice with sweet potato noodles and absolutely loved it!
An absolute slay of a recipe. Idk why I never thought to mix tomato with soy sauce but the umami is off the charts and paired with the chewiness of the tofu it really satisfies that savoury craving. Plus the rice is so simple but so aromatic it really is magical how simple and tasty this is.
Yummy and a quick dish to make! I used a half cup less of tomatoes and cooked them for a little bit longer just to get more of the juices out of the tomatoes and mixed in with the sauce.
Again an amazing meal! Huisband asked if we can eat it again tomorrow😄
Just…. yum. 😋 make it. You won’t regret it.
Too delicious for how easy this one is. PUL makes life better.
Delicious. I was skeptical of this one as I heavily dislike baby tomatoes, but I still wanted to give it a try as I hadn’t tried one of PUL’s 7-ingredient recipes yet. I did enjoy this one, especially since how quick and easy it was to prepare.
A huge hit! So easy to make and hits the spot every time. I subbed the rice for rice noodles, and I was actually giggling while I was eating it I loved it so much.
Followed exactly as written, using the timers (great idea for this app!) and it turned out great! Like something a nice restaurant would serve.
I made this for dinner last night and can't believe how easy and delicious it was! I used passage rather than cherry tomatoes as I didn't have any and I added a few fried mushrooms but OMG it was so full of flavour!
I'll definitely be making this again!
Some great Korean flavors. Simple yet DELICIOUS!
This was super easy and quick to make. I already had some leftover rice so all I really needed was to whip up the tofu and tomatoes together. The dish was really flavorful, will definitely keep making this!
Easy, quick and delicious!
Super tasty. Super quick home-office lunch. You need a few ingredients but will get a wonderful meal.
Will make again and again ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Absolutely delicious! Also works very well without the chilli (i cooked with and without for younger family members)
Quick, easy, and delicious!
Very nice 💯 🙂
This has become one of my favourite ways of preparing tofu!
This was super delicious! Exceeded my expectations. We only added 75% of the gochujang and it was the perfect spice level for us. We fried up some bok choy with sesame oil, garlic and soy sauce to go with it. Sensational! Will make again.
so easy and so yummy! LOVE
will be making this again
This was a good weeknight recipe! I added bokchoy too. I have a medium spice tolerance and this recipe had the perfect amount of spice (I also added a bit of maple syrup to it). Thanks for the recipe!!
Very delicious! I might reduce the sugar slightly next time, but this recipe is a good combination of heat, richness, crunch… loved it!!!
This was so wonderfully simple and tasty! Thank you!
I'm just starting out with a mostly vegan diet and this was a great intro to plant based :)
I've looking for an opportunity to try gochujang, and this recipe did the trick.
Quick and great flavor.
This is a wonderful recipe. Simple, fast and easy to customize.
Delicious and easy! I added some frozen veggies (I cooked them first and then added the tomatoes), would recommend to make it even healthier & fulfilling. Great for lunch prep as well!
Absolutely delicious!! And surprisingly not too spicy for me to handle. This will become a go to recipe for sure 😋
I've made this recipe 3 times since it came out, I love it!
I have kind of an odd question: I would love to cook this to my Mum. Unfortunately, due to an illness, she cannot eat anything spicy 😞. What would be a good substitute for the gochujang to keep the umami and sauciness but make it not spicy? I reckon it's a bit odd since the gochujang is kind of the base of this dish but would rather ask. Thank you for all these gorgeous recipes ❤️
Simple and delicious! Will make again
So easy to make and absolutely delicious!! I made it with normal tomatoes and it worked out perfectly. I can recommend making a simple side salad, went really well with the spice of the dish ✨
Amazing! I used sweet-chilli sauce instead of typical chilli - just to make it a bit more kids friendly - and it was delicious. Thank you!
This is one of the best Tofu-Dishes I've ever had 🥰
I took only 20g of Gochujang and it was already pretty spicy, but tasty!
LOVED IT! Will be making it again soon. My husband has the idea of tossing in some roasted broccoli, so I'll try that next time.
Simple and delicious!! 😋
i had an open can of chopped tomatoes to use up so i used that instead of cherry tomatoes and it worked really well!! can’t wait to try it with actually cherry tomatoes though
This was amazing! The tomatoes are like vibrant little bursts of flavour from soaking up all the gochujang in the dressing.
I will make it again! This was so delicious. I’m not a chili fan, but in this recipe was so tasty.
So fast! (I cheated and airfried the tofu)
* I discovered that gochujang paste and sauce are different things. I caught it just in time. The sauce already has quite a bit of salt, so I reduced soy sauce to one tablespoon. This is great- I will make it again!
Easy and delicious, but I'd recomend putting less gochujang. I followed the proportions in the recipe and it turned out strong. I balanced it with some yogurt.
Delicious! I used less than half of the recommended amount of gochujang, it still turned out great! Quick and easy to make
We used canned diced tomatoes because that's what we had, and it was delicious! Will make it again.
I love gochujang but never would have thought to cook it with tomatoes. Delish! Already looking forward to the leftovers.
Had to massively decrease the amount of gochujang due to baby mouth - but even then, this was still so delicious and very easy to make. Will absolutely make again!
This recipe is fire! I and my husband are loving it. We've put in a bit less gochujang but the final meal was still pretty spicy. Thank you for PUL-ling out such an easy and still so satisfying recipe!
(Yes, pun was absolutely intended 🤍)
Made for late breakfast. Amazing taste and it is easy to make! Loved it 🍛
So quick and easy to put together, and just delicious!
All ingredients where very good and of course I loved the tofu but I personally felt that the tomatoes made the sauce seem more like marinara.
Used the very little cherry tomatoes I had. So yummy and so quick!! I added roasted broccoli for some veg.
Fast and delicious!!!!
5 stars ⭐️ I made it for my husband and I and we both loved it so much! Will make it again for sure as it’s quick and easy! Thanks for the recipe ☺️
Looks so good! What other veg would you recommend to add? Would spinach be a good addition?
I thought that Gojajang was nothing for me, but with the sugar this sauce tastes delicious! I really like that it is spicy yet somehow sweet!
Just the best!
This dish was divine! I have a big tub of gochujang and I’m always looking for new ways to use it. The spice of the Gochujang with the cooked tomatoes, crispy tofu, and comforting rice was incredible. This will become a regular dish in my home. Thank you PUL 👏🏽👏🏽
This is such a good and versatile recipe!
I had some squash on hand, so I put it in the dish and it’s really good. I ate this with some fresh cucumbers and a side of kimchi, loved it!
I wish there has been some heads up about how spicy the dish is. Definitely too much for my taste 😣 maybe some additional marking for such recipes? 🙏🏻
Oh my oh my it really is spicy ! It was soooooo good, will try adding a bit less sauce cuz I feel like fire!!! Amazing job as always♥️
You weren't kidding when you said 'flavor bomb'!
I loved it. Prepared it yesterday, filling, easy to make and an explosion of taste 🥰
Oooh, that was spicy! I definitely recommend serving it alongside some fresh cucumber. Other than that, the recipe is great: quick, easy, and delicious!
soooo good!!! 🔥💖
Another wonderful PUL recipe! I wondered if the sauce would take long, but it was super easy to put together. I didn’t have any tomatoes on hand (& it’s too frigid to venture out!) so I made this with spinach and it still turned out great. I’ll definitely be making this again and trying with different veggies. Thanks, Sadie!
This is a wonderful, quick and simple dish with amazing flavour!!!
The Gochujang wasn‘t as spicy as I expected, but definitely not mild.
I added some pickled red onions on top and I am considering adding broccoli or brussel sprouts next time for some more veggie action.
Thank you for your wonderful work to everyone at Pick Up Limes. Everything we tried in the last years was a treat for the taste buds.
(Thanks to my boyfriend for making this tonight) :D
First time we tried gochujang but definitelly not the last one :). Very nice recipe for spice and tofu lovers! Simple, easy but full of taste!
Wow! We loved it 😍😍 The dish was super easy to prepare and tasted amazing. It was a little too spicy for me, so next time I’ll use a little less gochujang!
Holy moly! This is a flavor bomb. Would 100% make again! Great way to use up access tomatoes or fresh garden tomatoes.
Even tastier than it looks!
