Very good

Hannah C. Rosenblatt - Sept. 16, 2026, 8:06 p.m.

Can I freeze them? Sounds like a good staple piece for a week ☺️

Hiii Hannah ☺️ you bet! They can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 months. As a heads-up, just in case you haven't seen it already, our mobile app includes storage notes in the “Directions” tab and also on the final slide of the “Make” step-by-step instructions. Happy baking 💚✨

Annie - Sept. 1, 2026, 8:14 a.m.

Hiya! Could I also make this as 12 normal-sized muffins?

PUL small logo PUL Team - Sept. 1, 2026, 4:50 p.m.

Hiii Annie, mmm we imagine this would be lovely! They’ll just need a little longer in the oven, so we’d recommend starting to check them around the 20-minute mark and baking until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean. Hope you enjoy them ☺️🤎

Aww man. I don't have buckwheat flour. Should I be stocking that? Is it better? (Fiber, insulin, protein etc)? I don't want to get it if it's just for this recipe. So...should i use it in other recipes in place of it mixed with regular? Or should I use just regular in this one?

PUL small logo PUL Team - Aug. 29, 2026, 11:54 p.m.

Hiii Jacqui, oh need to stock it just for this recipe! 😊 we enjoy a little buckwheat flour here mainly for the flavour and texture, although it does add a bit more fiber, protein, and some minerals compared to all-purpose flour. But it’s not a must-have ingredient in all pantries 🫶

If you don't have any on hand, we imagine you can use all-purpose flour in its place in this recipe (though heads up we haven't tested it yet ourselves)... it should still turn out nicely I think.

And if you do happen to have buckwheat flour around, it’s a lovely one that we enjoy for things like pancakes, waffles, muffins, and other baked goods 🤗 Happy baking!

Is it possible to omit the sugar? I would like to serve them to my 1 year old.

Jacqui Rosa - Aug. 29, 2026, 7:58 p.m.

I use monkfruit for my kid. Its really good

Thanks for the question, Charlotte, and for the tip, Jacqui! We haven't tried making these without the sugar yet, so we can't say for certain how they'd turn out! The sugar does contribute to the texture and moisture of the muffins, so swapping or omitting it may change the result. If you give a swap a try, we'd love to hear how it goes 🤗

These are absolutely delicious! Thank you so much. So creamy and perfectly balanced level of sweetness. We don't have a muffins tray, so we made just these little cute blobs of chocolatey goodness.

Pauline P. - Aug. 26, 2026, 8:49 a.m.

Thank you so so much for this recipe !!! It was fabulously tasty, the courgette brings so much creaminess, and you can't guess there is a vegetable in the dessert !!! Everyone loved it ! I didn't do it as a muffin, I put it in a cake mold and bake it 35-40min

Aww we're smiling from ear-to-ear reading this, Pauline, thank you! ☺️ love the idea of switching up it from muffins as well ✨
