I had high hopes for this one but it just didn't hit the spot. The taste of coconut really took over the whole flavour profile. I will have to try again and substitute the coconut milk with something less strong-flavoured.

If you'll use powdered spices, it will take lesser the amount and taste will be stronger.. May add black pepper too..

Just made it with the maple syrup variation as I didn’t have dates on hand. It’s very tasty! I will add it to my rotation of evening tea relaxion moments 🥰
