Very easy to make and full of flavour. I used basmati rice and it turned out amazing 😍 would be keen to try different types of coulis as well.
Made this . It was so creative and new style and easy to make.
This one was sadly a miss for me - I took my eye off for a second and it spilled over, after that I cooked with the lid off. The rice wasn't cooked even though I cooked it for 20 minutes in total, and I also steamed it by turning the heat off and putting the lid on for 10 minutes.
Orange coulis was nice though.
Added some dark chocolate in the hot rice pudding and it was another level!!
Very delicious. I loved the pudding itself, but I didn’t care for the orange coulis. I’d like to remake the pudding with a different fruit next time. Any suggestions that should work? As I’m assuming the water content plays a part in juicing the fruit.
Very yummy, everyone in our household went back for more. Few ingredients, so actually pretty easy to make!
Some steps missing, although fine with me.
This is now a staple in my home. It balances out sweet and sour perfectly, plus it’s mega easy to make.
This took a little longer for me to make than the posted times, but it was a hit with the entire family!
This honestly saved my Christmas day, even though we only made the rice pudding base (will try the orange coulis ASAP, though).
I'm currently battling a chest infection and I am genuinely the most sick I can ever remember being. My partner made from scratch a non traditional, Indian inspired, Christmas dinner of saag aloo, coconut yoghurt & tikka marinated tofu kebabs, onion bhajis, and naan bread, plus a bunch of other things for the meat eaters. Something I would normally really enjoy (he's an excellent cook) but I could only manage a few bites. Later in the day, he fired up this app and made me this rice pudding, which I'd favourited but not tried yet. It was delicious, easy to eat with my sore throat, and just the kind of warm comfort food I needed. The highlight of my Christmas day for sure! And bonus - there are leftovers if I feel up to it later.
One of the best home-made desserts! Love love it 🌸
Simple, yet delicious. Bonus: gives the kitchen a lovely winter-y scent!
Very easy to make, and it tastes delicious! The spiced orange coulis is a wonderful addition to a rice pudding. Thank you!
I made this for my husband after he had helped me with my book project. It was the best dessert we have eaten in ages!
I ended up using low GI rice and it took longer to cook but it turned out creamy and delicious.
Hi i tried this recipe and everyone love it, specially at my job. They like so much the orange couli, so i wonder which would be the shelf life for the couli. Does it need to be refrigerated all the time? or just once is opened? in the case that is in a preserved jar and well sealed. Thank you so much already for doing an amazing app i tried a lot of recipes and everything is beautiful😁
Which rice do you recommend using? In the picture it looks like you used a short grain rice. Or is basmati rice just fine? Thank you in advance :)
Can you freeze this?
So easy and so yummy. It will become a regular. :)
