Discussion & Rating
Ricetta terminata da poco ed il gusto è OTTIMO. Io però ho aggiunto il pomodoro e devo dire che è stata un'ottima idea.
Grazie mille perché date sempre ottimi spunti.
Un abbraccio
Incredible!! The spices give the recipe such a warm taste and the texture of the lentils is so different from what I usually know in a soup (potatoes, carrots and such). I really loved it! And it goes so well with a cold and dark weather :3
So easy to make and delicious! Usually make it with sweet potatoes instead of potatoes. Also, appreciate it when you indicate recipes freeze well like this soup as freezing half the recipe for another day makes meal prep easy.
I love the soup! Did you use Hungarian paprika or smoked paprika?
Love this recipe! It is simply and delicious and I always have the ingrediants! Good one!
I love this recipe, so simple and tasty! My son makes it for his family as well - they call it fart soup. I guess they don’t eat lentils as much as I do. I’ve made this several times and it never disappoints - thank you!
Can't wait to try this recipe! What is the best way to heat up leftovers? Thank you!
Fantastic soup! I made double portion to last a couple of days and topped with a little soy cream and pepper. Served with hemp & rye bread and romaine. Thank you for this as I went on a cooking mission making 3 of your recipes in one night!
So easy and tasty! Just had the leftovers for lunch and they were just as good as last night. Will definitely make again.
I love this recipe, it is fast and super tasty! Make it!!
I LOVE this recipe, this soup Is fantastic!!!
I made this for dinner and I absolutely loved it! I added a little garam masala and it tasted a-MA-zing with pav (an Indian bread).
Such a delicious and protein packed soup! Loved it! This definitely goes on my weekly meal prep list! Thank you for sharing this with us! :)
This is delicious and so easy to make! It's going in my regular recipe rotation. I made enough for a couple of days, and a serving for the freezer. Today, I put it over a bed of fresh spinach and to switch it up tomorrow, I'll put it over a bed of steamed cauliflower. YUM :)
Easy and delicious recipient. Thank you.
Really easy recipe. Nice take on lentil soup.
The coconut yoghurt really finished the dish.
We ate the 3 person recipe with two people. With three it wouldn't have been enough.
Soooo delicious! The caramelized onions go really well with it. It's the best lentil soup I've ever made 😋 thank you!
Hello from México! We love your take on nutrition, simple and easier than the one we hear on our country, we swap the chili flakes for something we call "Salsa Macha" which is kind of chilli oil with some nuts and garlic and it taste delicious, I little bit more spicy but great! (:
Fantastic, we loved this soup on a chilly day!
Really fantastic "go-to" for a quick, easy, budget-friendly (most ingredients are things you likely already have), and delicious weeknight meal! The combination of potatoes and paprika reminded me a lot of some great dishes out of Spain, if you're a fan of those flavorings!
So easy to make and so tasty!
I don’t have bouillon cubes. Would it work to use 4 cups of veggie broth in place of the cube and 3 cups of water?
Delicious soup. I'm grateful for your time and dedication so we can have this delicious recipe.
Oh my goodness this was good! We came home from a long weekend of not being able to eat as well as we are used to, and came home to a pretty empty kitchen. Found this recipe that uses pantry staples, and in 30 minutes we were sitting down to a piping hot bowl of heaven! Thank you for this new "go to" meal!
I love this lentil soup, it has become a staple for me in the last few months. Simple ingredients, but so flavourful - I love it!
I also made so many different toppings with it - today I used up some stale bread and made simple croutons (with lots of herbs).
I love how thick this is. good flavor and filling! (love the website design btw!)
I really like the added flavour of the balsamic vinigar, would have never thought it goes so well with lentils.
Also, I love the fact that there are few ingredients that give a great taste to this kinda of a classic soup!
Loved this soup! So comfy and warm. I added a tablespoon of georgian Ajika spice and it was a match! :)
The easiest soup I’ve ever made!
Loved it! Simple and wholesome :)
Is it possible to swish the balsamic vinegar with something else? :-)
This looks amazing! Out of curiosity, which ingredient has the gluten in it? At first glance it looks GF but I want to make sure I'm not missing something before I try it.
Made this tonight for my mother in law and myself. Absolutely delicious! Will be making again
Made this today - it's-25C here in Ontario. Perfect dinner on a cold day. I added some chopped kale that needed to be used up, along with 2 sliced Beyond sausages. We ate it with foccacia "fingers ". I will definitely make this again. And again 🙂
This is my new favorite lentil soup recipe. Thank you!
Oh my goodness this is one of my favourite recipes of yours! So easy to make and so tasty. I added some zucchini I had leftover and it was delish!
I admit, I was pleasantly surprised at how well this recipe turned out. It’s so simple to make, quick, and tastes amazing! I will definitely add this to my recipe rotation.
Made this for my lunches this week - perfect for a cold day, it's so cozy and delicious with the paprika and potatoes. Super easy to put together, too. This will definitely be one I make more often!
I absolutely adore this recipe. Simple, flavorful, affordable, & comforting! This is my 3rd time making it. It tastes wonderful with sweet potato & carrot as well! I would love to see more of these kinds of recipes ❤️ Thank you!!
This is one of the easiest and tasties recipes. Definitely worth a try. Feels amazing on cold and gloomy days!
Amazing!!! My husband and children loved the flavor and we all agree this is a keeper! Thank you!
Hi all at PUL. I came across your page few weeks ago and today I made this recipe. It is easy and really tasty!!! I would like to say that your page is incredible and all recipes looks delicious. I look forward to try more. 🤩
WOW. I was just making this for lunches for a week, now this has become a household favorite! I think it is the balsamic vinegar addition! The actual soupy part is incredible! I added Pak Choy and Red cabbage towards the end to save them from going off in our fridge. That was a great addition if anyone wants to try!
We will be making this on a regular basis!
As expected, this soup was delicious. My husband raved about it all evening. I added a bag of fresh spinach at the end to up the nutrition and for the pop of color. This recipe is definitely going into the rotation. I've already shared the link with a friend.
Thanks so much PUL!
Picked this recipe for several reasons: pantry-friendly, your recipes earned my trust when your Spicy Garlic Tofu got me past my FOT (fear of tofu), and near-zero effort/mess! I had some bits of frozen chopped okra and baby peas, so I added those to tidy up tue freezer. Super delicious, healthful and perfect on a lazy, chilly day. Thank you for this keeper.
This was the first of the recipes of yours that I tried and it was absolutely delicious!
Hello
I love your cooking and helpful tips especially since I am only a new vegan. I made the potato and lentil soup and absolutely enjoyed every mouthful. It will be one of our camping staples as its so easy to make. Thank you
I enjoy it, pretty easy, I am happy with the result Thank you for the recipe
Wow, you're such a master in what you do! I have made some of your recipes and you're truely so talented! I love you're beautiful website, the AMAZING recipes, the way you present everything and give options when something is not available. Some kind of passion you have! A question about this one: if you dont have onion and garlic powder can i just replace it with more onion and garlic? Im so excited to make the recipe! You make cooking so much fun and easy!
This soup is incredible. While it's so simple and budget friendly, it truly doesn't lack in flavour and this yummy comfort feeling. I LOVE this soup. I added a bit of kale from my yard, cause I like to spot some green in my soups.
Tried this soup on a whim as I came across it when meal planning for the week. We had everything needed in anyway and it came together super quick. Will definitely make again 👍
I just love it! It's fast, easy and so tasteful ! I just think that my bouillon cube is particulary salty, it was a bit much ahah but now I found the perfect amount of it !
This didn't last long. Super filling, great for lunch the next day!
Absolutely delicious and all pantry ingredients. The flavours are spot as per usual.
This recipe is so quick, easy and delicious! My baby sister dislikes lentils but she loved this recipe. I wasn't surprised. Pick Up Limes always comes out with healthy tasty meals :)
Love how easy and simple it is. Served it with naan from the grocery, yum. Made extra to freeze for a quick dinner in the future.
So quick and easy. Absolutely delicious!
Thanks PUL - this was delicious and SO easy! I made exactly as written with fresh parsley garnish.
Sadia, you’ve done it again! Your potato & pea curry is a staple of mine now this will join the list. You’re improving the world one recipe at a time, keep up the great work!
There is a typo in the recipe "cover with a lid a cook".
Really good!!!!
Simple et très bon
Love your videos and your recepies. Thanks so much for sharing all with us in such a lovely but professional way
This was very tasty and easy to make. I used a potato masher before I served it so that the potatoes would be less chunky (personal preference). I would definitely make this again! Thank you, Pick Up Limes! :)
Just made for dinner. Quick and easy for busy people. Filling recipe in which I added cumin for even more flavor. I may also add some frozen green beans.
WOW talk about flavor. This was super easy to make, nutritious, and delicious! I will definitely make it again. I added some Sazón completo for some Hispanic flavor!
This is one of our go to recipes! We just made it tonight. I like that it comes together quickly, especially after a long day. We have enjoyed so many of your recipes over the years. Thank you Sadia!
Made this after I saw the video today, and it is so easy and delicious! I didn't have onion powder so I just left that out and added a little more garlic. The one thing I can't figure out is why it's such a deep red in the picture, but mine turned out pale orange. I used sweet Hungarian paprika and Turkish Masoor Dal split red lentils. A keeper regardless though!
Loved this wholesome and delicious soup! I used dried brown/green lentils that I soaked the night before and scallions (didn't have any onions). It's amazing that you don't need broth for this soup! I will definitely be making this again and again during the fall and winter season.
I wouldn't have thought such a simple recipe (using water instead of broth, no less) could be so tasty, but I love this stew! The only change I made was to put 1 tbsp of smoked paprika instead of the 1.5 tbsp regular paprika. Both my husband and I enjoyed it. Definitely will be making again.
This recipe is so easy and yummy! I always add extra vegetables from the fridge. Zucchini especially is my favorite to add to this soup! Sometimes I do half smoked paprika, half regular too! Any way you make it is fast, tasty and budget friendly too!
AMAZING. I just came back home and got a taste of the soup I made in the afternoon and I'm pleasantly surprised it came out THIS GOOD. I was running so I just left it in the counter to chill while I went out for 2-3hours without even trying it. I don't know why I had this feeling it was going to be bland. It's DELICIOUS and VERY filling. I did add a quarter of a red pepper that was going to go bad and a leaf of leak that was about the meet the same fate. I also accidentally let it dry a bit too much (while I was running around) but it's still great. Thick like a pure and lovely. Thank you!
I have to admit that the new photo convinced me to make this soup.
And Im so glad I did it! It's so simple and quick to make and so warming and comforting.
This is my go to when I don’t feel like cooking. It’s quick, delicious, and hearty.
This is one of my faves. It's so easy to do and tasty! Also it freezes very well. My favorite topping is sauteed onions and hot sauce.
I tried this when there basically was nothing left in the fridge and I couldn't be bothered to go shopping before having dinner. This is really comforting, smooth and delicious! It would have been better had I had some joghurt to top it off with... But I still had the leaves of some beet roots (which you can use similarly to mangold leaves) that I chopped and added 5 minutes before serving. I recommend some chopped nuts on top if you miss a crunch factor. Will defenitely make this again.
I made this and it was the best! I had a small pan though and messed up the ratio of lentils and water so it got a bit thick, which was no problem, it tasted amazing. I also added 4 grams of chilli powder. Surprised how easy and delicious this is!
I tried this yesterday today and it was super delicious! It's a very simple recipe and I happened to have these ingredients on hand except for the potato (which I substituted with carrot).
I just tried this recipe for the first time and I love it! Thank you for this! I can’t wait to try more PUL recipes!
So delicious and easy to cook! Thanks, Sadia!🤗
This soup tasted so good that my mum asked for more even though she was full XD
Love ur vids by the way ;)
