How much pre-ground cinnamon would be recommended to use if I do not have cinnamon sticks?

Heyy friend! If I had to guess, I'd say 5 cinnamon sticks equal about 2½ to 3 teaspoons of ground cinnamon in total. I’d recommend starting on the lower end, around 2½ teaspoons, tasting the final spice mix, and adding more if needed. You also won't need to toast it if using ground, simply stir it into the final mix 😊

Just what I needed! I once found garam masala in a store somewhere., but now I have run out of it and I can't remember where I bought it. And other stores don't seem to carry it. Thank you for this recipe!!
