Fantastic recipe! I ate it 3 days in a row and can't wait to make it again to make it again. Next time I will use a generic vegan mince from the supermarket instead of the Beyond Meat to make it more affordable.I sprinkled more za'atar over everything as a finish.
This was delicious. I try not to buy fake meat so instead I made the meatballs from your recipe ”Spiced lentil and seitan balls” and skipped the Ras el Hanout spice mix. They worked very well in this recipe.
Will be making this on repeat. The flavors are superb. I added sliced Kalamata olives and feta cheese to toppings.
This was so good! The meatballs are delicious!
Can I replace with tofu instead
I made souvlaki and it turned out amazing with these meat balls
Part of my reason for eating vegan is that I don't like the taste of meat... Is there something else I could use instead of beyond meat?
Meatballs are a traditional dish in my country, but I think these are the best I've ever made! Even my boyfriend was sceptical when he saw they weren't cooked in the sauce, but when he tasted them... He was in tears because they were so delicious! Simply spectacular.
Can you make these meatballs in advance and store them in the freezer?
