Leave the syrup slightly textured for little jammy cherry bits, or strain it for a smoother drink. A tiny splash of almond extract is optional, but so lovely if you want a cherry dessert kind of flavour.

I really didn't know what to expect because I've never tasted anything like this but it's already my favourite coffee recipe from PUL β it's especially great for people who like to have their coffee as a dessert π
