No-Bake Strawberry Cheesecake in a Jar

Hello, what is a goog substitute of vegan whipped cream or coconut whip? They are unfortunately not available in my local grocery stores. I dont really need the consistency to be perfect, as long as it tastes good😋

Heyy Panagiota! Hmm there may be a few options depending on what you have on hand. You could probably use a bit more vegan cream cheese in place of the whipping cream for a richer and denser filling. Alternatively, a thick plant-based Greek-style yogurt may work for a lighter, slightly tangy option, orrr cashew cream for something creamier.

Mix whichever option you choose with the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth, and adjust to taste 🤗 hope you love the recipe!

Made these for our Fourth of July BBQ and everyone loved them and I’m the only vegan! Definitely will make these again. I did have to substitute graham crackers because I couldn’t find digestives in any of my stores

Hi there, could you please add the weight of the cookies to the recipe? I tried making the dessert yesterday and as I got different smaller ones, so I used 21 pieces in total, however, I think that was not enough. Thank you!

Hey! Just wondering what brand of cream cheese you use for this recipe :) (I'm in the Netherlands as well, but not sure what the Dutch translation for cream cheese would be, especially vegan)

Hey Tim, we get vegan cream cheese from Albert Heijn, usually, we use the Violife brand, called "creamy original", which is coconut-based. Philadelphia also has one now, which is almond, oat, and coconut-based. We haven't found any difference between them for most recipes. 😊

Hey Liliana, we use the Albert Heijn brand digestive cookies since that's the most accessible at our local grocery store. Any brand will do though! Just be sure to check the ingredients since some may include animal-based butter if you follow a plant-based lifestyle 🤗

I made two versions of this today! One was gluten free for my mum and another non gluten free version for me. I didn’t have enough strawberries so added some raspberries, too. This was super delicious and so easy to make! Mum was v impressed!

A great and quick dessert - very delicious. I did it already twice and used it once for my sons birthday at breakfast with a little candle in it 🎉

Hey Uschi, our digestive cookies tend to weigh 13-15 grams per cookie. The grams of cookies per recipe will depend on the number of servings you'd like 😊
