Garraettok with Saucy Minced 'Meat'
For this dish, we took inspiration from different Asian cuisines to create a salty, umami sauce that is served over chewy rice cake sticks. This type of rice cake is known as "garae-tteok" (가래떡) and is most commonly known from the popular Korean dish "tteokbokki" (떡볶이).Servings

Great. Rice cakes were easy to get hold of and the meal was tasty and novel to me
If you couldn't find the rice cake sticks anywhere, what would you recommend as replacement? Sticky rice, noodles, or something else?
We didn't have any gochugaru, so we used smoked paprika mixed with chili as an alternative. It was quick and easy to prepare. Thank you!
Hi! Can you suggest a brand of veggie ground? I can’t understand what is this product. In Italy we either have tvp or something like beyond mince 🤔
