I made it without the dates and it was still so delicious and sweet, thx. Really nice combi mango and tumeric:)

The flavour of the mango is enhanced if the drink is allowed to thaw a little. So I would leave for 5 minutes after blending. Turmeric is a very strong flavour, so I would use a small amount to start with and add more to taste but it does give a beautiful colour to the drink. Very delicious lassi.

Almost didn’t put pepper in this. So glad I trusted you! It’s out of this world

Thanks Pick up Limes Team for sharing this recipe! This is the first time I've ever had a Lassi before and I definitely feel better afterwards! It tastes great and it fills me up too! I do not recommend skipping out on any of the ingredients cuz it maximizes the flavor. I did it without the dates and I could tell the difference in taste as it wasn't as sweet.

The only feedback I have is a range of time on how long to blend it so it is well combined. Also I have a nutribullet and I use it on medium.

PUL Team - July 12, 2023, 10:16 p.m.

So glad the recipe is being enjoyed, Brett, thanks a bunch! The blending time can vary based on the power of the blender but we'll be sure to note down the feedback to help us improve ☺️

Thank you, my pleasure! Yes, I figured, a minor thing regardless.

I made this and I even added more turmeric to the top! Delicious. My local store didn't have non dairy yogurt, so I used low fat greek and a squeeze of lime.

Star - March 13, 2023, 6:53 p.m.

This looks so good! Any chance you know if you can use fresh turmeric? I landed upon a whole bunch and am not sure what to do with it... Thanks!

PUL Team - March 15, 2023, 11:55 p.m.

Hey Star, we haven't tested it out but imagine you could! We've heard that around half to a full inch of fresh turmeric root for each teaspoon of ground turmeric works to start 🙂

Rachael - Feb. 12, 2023, 9:14 a.m.

Delicious!

Gracie - Sept. 22, 2022, 8:33 p.m.

SaraM - Sept. 7, 2022, 2:24 a.m.

YUM! It’s so hot and I want ice cream, so I watched your anti-inflammation cool drinks video, and made this. It’s better than ice cream! Thank you.

PUL Team - Sept. 7, 2022, 5:20 p.m.

Woohoo - thank you, SaraM! Stay cool out there ☀️

An absolute delicious mango lassi. I loved the fact that you added fresh ginger. It made it really refreshing. I will definitely be making this again. My husband loved it too!

Charlotte - Aug. 13, 2022, 5:02 p.m.

I've only ever heard of mango lassi before and I'm now so happy to have tried it out. I love the addition of turmeric (with black pepper) for extra health benefits and yellow colour! 💛💛 Definitely making again! 🙌🏻

PUL Team - Aug. 14, 2022, 6:16 a.m.

Oh we're so happy to hear, Charlotte! You're the best 💛

JB - Aug. 7, 2022, 2:05 a.m.

My new favorite summertime treat! The dates make it so delicious and add a delightful texture!

PUL Team - Aug. 7, 2022, 5:13 p.m.

So happy it's being enjoyed, JB!

April - Aug. 4, 2022, 6:48 p.m.

This was delicious! I didn't have any dates, so I used a sweetened peach yogurt instead. It worked amazingly!

PUL Team - Aug. 5, 2022, 1:25 a.m.

Thank you for taking the time to share, April, it means so much :)

Miranda - Aug. 4, 2022, 4:46 p.m.

Great taste! I usually think the turmeric flavor can take over but for this it was perfect. I will definitely make it again :)

PUL Team - Aug. 5, 2022, 1:21 a.m.

Woohoo! Thank you, Miranda 🙂

Lydia - Aug. 3, 2022, 12:07 a.m.

Tasted great! The ginger flavor isn’t too strong for me either. My blender did have some trouble blending the Medjool date, so I added some more milk. Maybe next time I should try soaking the date ahead of time.

PUL Team - Aug. 3, 2022, 1:44 a.m.

So glad it was enjoyed, Lydia! We do recommend soft medjool dates for this one so soaking or adding more milk are lovely ideas to soften them if needed 😃
